Mock dirt
1. OFCOM regulator for radio
2. wheatus : teenage dirtbag and avril lavigne sk8er Boi  Media language: narrative (story)
mise en scene  (costume/setting)
camera work / editing
soundtracks
mise en scene is dfferent, they are in 2 separate locations.
Music videos use camerawork to differ from each other to reveaal different moods and atmosphere in the music videos. they may choose to use naturalistic camera work to show the reality of a situation compared to usin highly stylised camera work to show a professional style.

in the music videos i have studied a clear differene is seen in the use of media language through camerawork.

3. Radio producers target different audience through the content of their radio programming, local radio stations are only available on FM in the local areas although some can be accessed via the internet
local radio target a specific audience through their coverage of local events
producers target particular audiences through their use of style and genre of a radio programme, this can be seen in the Radio 1 live lounge which uses an acoustic style to attract their audience by their use of style
harry styles performed a recent song to attract a younger audience then he covered an older track by fleetwood mac which would appeal to an older/ wider audience especially in the acoustic style

how target- methods

4.
talk about an aspect that creates representation - image, text, colour, setting?
what representation is created ? what does this suggest to the audience?

on the cover of mojo magazine we can see the image is...
this image creates the representation of ...
this makes the audience think

5. similar elements of media language different elements of media language, use examples for each.
state whether they are similar of different because of genre conventions or music type

6. BBFC is the age regulator for films  gaming regulator GAMES RATING AUTHORITY

7. likely to be about media industries and theoretical framework

help to promote the film and also to increase profits. give 2 reasons and explain.
just use common sense to choose why they would release a movie and a game and the same time.

8.
know the theory well- explain it.
apply the theory to the film
give specific examples from the film.

uses and gratification:
Entertainment, pleasure and to escape the real world
personal identity: identify with a character from the film.
surveillance: gan understanding of the world: eg news information
social interaction: keep in touch via video game communities or discuss the film with peers

Blumer and Katz stated that media were there for audiences entertainment, they were for pleasure and to escape the real world.this can be applied to the lego movie.... (pleasure- humour, escapism, provides a different world, we can see this specifically in the character emmet, emmet is a relatable character from the lego movie, he is just a regular person and doesn't believe he is capable of saving the world you the consumer would both find emmet funny and empathise with him because at he is just an average person

9.
how did the promotional campaign target a family audience?

3. Full focus on the campaign element being analysed to target the audience- representations.
1. poster- colour palette, lego figures- familiar to all, characters in the posters appeal to boys and girls.
2. global context of the actors- famous globally, attracts a wider audience.
